1900-2000 (not 1900-00) (example of a century bound together.)
1987-1997 (not 1987-97) (example of eleven calendar years bound together.)
1998/1999 (not 1998/99) (example of an academic or fiscal year, a non-calendar
     year other than January to December.)
1997/1998-2001/2002 (example of fiscal year 1997/1998 through fiscal year
     2001/2002 bound together.)
1987/1997 (not 1987/97) (example of a single volume of ten academic or fiscal years.)
